School Dinners

School meals at Brockhurst are catered for by Dolce. All children in Year R, 1 and 2, are entitled to receive a Universal Free School Meal.  Meals can be pre-ordered from home via the SchoolGrid website. The cost for a school meal for those children in Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 who are not eligible for Free School Meals is £3.20 per day and meals can be paid for via SchoolGrid. Sample menus are available to view online. If your child has any special dietary requirements or food allergies, please log these on the school meal online system SchoolGrid.

Snacks

Children in Years R, 1 and 2 are provided with free fruit at morning break-time.

School Milk

All children aged 4 are eligible to receive free milk at school. This is normally drunk at snack time when children sit down to enjoy their healthy snack.

Once your child turns 5 they will no longer be eligible to receive free milk, however, if your child wishes to continue to have milk they may do so through our subsidised milk scheme run by Coolmilk. You can register and pay for your child’s milk online. The current cost is around £15 per term.
